Taking a romantic tropical island week off with her boyfriend, an ambitious, decisive New York girl agrees to help her magazine out by covering a story on a neighbouring island. The only plane available is piloted by a laid-back heavy drinker with whom she shares a mutual dislike. But she has no choice and he can’t refuse the money. When the plane crash-lands on an uninhabited island with little chance of rescue they both wish they had made other arrangements - at least to start with.

Heavy Rainfall causes a Indiana river to swell and flood the town. All inhabitants are forced by public services to leave instantly. Tom and his uncle Charlie work for a money transport firm and their assignment is to evacuate all cash from the banks along the flooding river. So, their truck is loaded with about three million Dollars. Hank tries to prevent further flooding, as he’s the guy responsible for the dam up the river, but he has to open one gate in order to save the old dam from breaking. Only the police under the Sheriff’s leadership stay in town to prevent looting. As the water level rises, Tom and Charlie’s Truck gets stuck in the flooded road. This is the moment, Jim, an elderly thief, and his gang have been waiting for. In an attempt to get the money from the truck, Charlie gets shot and Tom swims off to save the cash bags. While trying to hide, he meets Karen, who resisted to leave the old church she has been restoring for eight months. She thinks he is a looter, and calls the cops to bring him in. But as the Sheriff finds out about that much cash in a situation like this, he radios his old pal Hank, up at the dam…

It turns out that a treasure hunter named Ravens is searching for the lost city of Opar, and is destroying the jungle and desecrating the villagers’ burial grounds in the process. In 1638 Queen Anne of France gives Birth to a boy, who will inherit the throne one day. But, only known to few, there is a twin brother born minutes later. 22 years later, King Louis XIV rules the country of France, but due to his lifestyle and the costs of war, people are forced to suffer hunger and poverty. Of the Musketeers, who had served his father Louis XIII faithfully, only one is still on the king’s side: D’Artagnan, the Capitain of the king’s guards. His three companions Aramis, Athos and Porthos have retired into civil life long ago. One day on a royal party, the young and unliked king gets a crush on Christine. This young lady is the fiancé of soldier Raoul, the son of Athos. Without further ado, the king has Raoul recruited and sent to war, so that he himself can take care of her. Soon Raoul dies in combat and the king has him out of the way. But Athos, Aramis and Porthos think of a plan to take revenge on the king. Aramis points out that there is a man in an iron mask in a very secure prison, and that this man’s existance can solve all present problems. So they free the king’s hidden twin brother, and tell him who he is, as he of course feels free of guilt and has no idea whatsoever why he was imprisoned for 6 years with this mask forged around his head. The plan now is to replace the evil king with his brother at a masquerade party held soon. Only D’Artagnan still is guarding the king and so he has to turn against his old friends…

Slick-talking Bob and Sid run a bankrupt used-car lot. They used to work for Danny Woo, whose lot next door is the most successful one in Needles. Danny’s still their friend, and what with his sick wife, Bob and Sid agree to cover for him during an IRS investigation into his finances. Meanwhile, a series of murders and an FBI investigation focus on a Pontiac convertible with a mysterious cargo originating in the Andes. Bob and Sid’s shady supplier offers them $250,000 to stash the car on their lot for a couple days; Bob’s reluctant, but Sid sees this as their ticket out. They say yes, then try to run a double cross on the Pontiac’s mysterious and ruthless owner.

After the death of her father, Little Voice or LV (played by Jane Horrocks) becomes a virtual recluse, never going out and hardly ever saying a word. She just sits in her bedroom listening to her father’s collection of old records of Shirley Bassey, Marilyn Monroe and various other famous female singers. But at night time, LV sings, imitating these great singers with surprising accuracy. One night she is overheard by one of her mother’s boyfriends, who happens to be a talent agent. He manages to convince her that her talent is special and arranges for her to perform at the local night club, but several problems arise.

A Neo Nazi skinhead, named Derek Vineyard (Edward Norton) goes to jail for 3 years after committing a murder of 2 black guys. In the meanwhile, his younger brother, Danny Vineyard (Edward Furlong) goes in the same way and makes the same mistakes (racism and hatred) his eldest brother did (this is the result of the Neo Nazi environment he grows up into, and the influence Derek left behind). While Derek is in jail he realize that he choose the wrong path. after coming back from jail, Derek try to convince his brother not to go in his own way.
